Alexandria Cemetery,
Alexandria Ohio

Local legend is that the first family in the area, their last name was Devilish or Devilbliss.  The family
was said to be devil worshipers, hence their last name.  It was rumored that they did satanic rituals on
their property that involved murder and animal sacrifice.  When the family members died, it is said that
they family was buried in the opposite direction of the rest of the graves.  It was said to be so that they
could not rise at dusk and continue their murderous ways.

The goal of the investigation was to get some photographs and see if we could find any of the Devilish
or Devilbliss grave sites.
*Keep in mind when investigating cemeteries to show respect to the graves of
those who have passed on*

We walked row after row, looking for a headstone either facing the other direction or with the certain
name.  As we walked, it became apparent that  certain rows would face East, others West, and a
couple even South.  This quickly disproved the part of the story involving their burial in opposite
directions.

Due to the age of this cemetery, headstones have gone missing or been broken and never repaired.
We were not able to get a 100% accurate findings for the graves of all of those buried there.  We
found no anomalies in our photos, nor did we have any unusual reading on any of our equipment.
